Playing with my toys- Wednesday 30th & Thursday 31st March, 2011

This morning Javeya woke up at 5 am and she was all to happy to cuddle up with Daddy and take a second morning snooze.  I woke up at 7:30 or so surprised to see her in our bed.  She then opened her eyes shortly after and started smiling.  She has a toy that attaches to her crib which I moved and placed on our bed for her to play and she had a wonderful time.  This toy has a mirror and is surrounding by many colours and gadgets for her to touch.  The best for her is the ball that she just kept rolling with both her feet while she cooed as if she was talking to her own image in the mirror.  She did that for quite some time then nestled down for a nap. When Javeya woke up she was so hungry she does not mix matters when it comes to meals at all her cry will increasingly get louder until she gets her bottle.  Today we went to see Granny Esther because it was her birthday she smiled and socialized as she usually does then was out again.  She slept on the way back in the car and opened her eyes when she got home.  I put her in her cot and she fell right back to sleep she slept through the night and was back up at 6:30 or so.  I have notice that her usual waking hours are between 5 am and 7am.  I wonder if that is any indication as to whether or not she will be a morning person.  Today Thursday was pretty much a quiet day for us we ran a few errands and then came back home.  Javeya followed her usual pattern eat, play, then nap for the course of the day.

I am blogging!

I decided to start this blog so that when Javeya is older she would be able to see how she progressed.  I was motivated by Mari Creque  and reading her blog.
Javeya is now 3 months and 3 days old and is growing up quickly.  She is currently standing up and shift her weight from one leg to another and is fascinated by things are bright in colour.  She is now able to hold small items on her own like her comforter which she only started doing within the last week.  I have been placing her on her stomach and she is attempting to creep she knows how to move her legs but has not fully grasped how to move her hands for the creeping motion.  She enjoys playing in her bouncy chair.  She has started teething so it is dribble and more dribble.  She also started directing items to her mouth including her bottle and pretty much anything sometimes even my fingers.  I started her on rice cereal last Friday and she is enjoying it.
